Sekeping Jugra is a commune of like-minded people
living, working and playing together.
Sekeping Jugra is ideal for long- and short-term stay and work. Eight courtyards surround a single-storey house built in the 1950s. The semi-private living and work spaces are all interconnected via narrow alleyways, gardens and courtyards. There is also a roof farm where guests and tenants are welcomed to plant and pick their own food.
Recycled materials found at Sekeping Jugra come from all over the country - PAM Building, Jalan Tangsi; Dayabumi; Mutiara Hotel, Penang; Brickfields Methodist School; Choong Kee Foundry, Kampar; Kong Heng, Ipoh; and mud dug out from Sekeping Jugra's swimming pool.
Everyone in the Sekeping Jugra community is welcomed to share the common kitchen, swimming pool, meeting facilities and gardens.
